PRIVACY POLICY

Vendora is designed to turn a firm's private sourcing knowledge into a useful, permissioned resource. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.

Last updated July 29, 2026

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, work email, firm name, waitlist responses, support messages, and account details.

When you use Vendora, the service may also process project details, sourcing requests, vendor information, product references, notes, and files that you or your firm choose to add.

How we use information

  • Provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Vendora service.
  • Process waitlist requests and communicate about access, product updates, and support.
  • Personalize sourcing results and build the firm memory features your team requests.
  • Understand product usage through first-party event logs stored in our database (for example searches, saves, and activation steps) so we can improve reliability and the core sourcing loop.
  • Detect abuse, troubleshoot failures, and meet legal obligations.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host, operate, secure, communicate about, and improve Vendora. Those providers may process information only for the services they perform for us.

We use an error-monitoring provider (Sentry) to capture application crashes and failures. Events are configured to avoid sending email addresses and other unnecessary personal data; technical details such as stack traces, release version, and a user identifier may be included so we can diagnose issues.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a corporate transaction. We will provide additional notice where the law requires it.

Your firm's data

Your firm controls the project and sourcing information it submits to Vendora. Access is limited according to account and firm permissions. Contact us if you need help correcting, exporting, or deleting information associated with your account.

Data choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

To make a request, email bridget@sourcevendora.com or mark@sourcevendora.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Security, retention, and changes

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including legal, accounting, and security needs. We may update this policy as Vendora evolves and will revise the date on this page when we do.
